didnt think so 😉

If you do please tell me how to get rid of the "Direct" sound but keep it from becoming too spacey.

Currently using a shure sm57 and or 58,....through miced fender twin reverb RI with normal guitar settings,
no mic preamp or mixing ,......or straight to the 4-track.

thnx -mike

You'll need a mic preamp between the mic and mixer/recorder. A more vocal specific mic would help too, but i don't know the models. Something with a diaphragm.
Why would you use a guitar amp anyway? A keyboard amp has a wider frequency response and is more suitable for vocals, the guitar amp has a narrower band, especially the speakers.
