It was beautiful. It was real rock. The lead singer has an amazing voice, and he was really funny and personable, too - made lots of jokes, said that he was stunned by the beauty of the venue. The band is AWESOME, very impressive especially the lead guitarist and bass player, but the drummer and keyboardist were very good too.
HERE'S THE BEST PART: In addition to doing all their hits and lots of great new music too (like the song they did specifically for the Spiderman movie) - in the middle of the concert OUT OF NOWHERE...they did a nice and lengthy LED ZEPPELIN MEDLEY!!!!! I was up and out of my seat the whole time during that part, it was GREAT, I almost lost my voice from screaming, and I'm not even usually a screamer at all, unless it's really warranted. lol. IT ROCKED, the lead singer sang all the...you know..."orgasmic" parts of "whole lotta love" perfectly...
I'll talk more about it all later but wanted to at least say something, for now. 🙂

Recently I joined a music club, thinking it would be a good thing to do in order to take advantage of the better deals they have on music purchases, etc. Well, aside from the annoyance of having to pay for shipping (although it's pretty reasonable), I'm

I can't even tell you how much this bugs me...I've been talking about all these good songs on our continuous loop cd at work, but I need to mention that not all of the songs are good. Get ready to hear something shocking and shameful. There's a g-damned
GREAT NEW rock song. It's actually called "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" and it's by this really odd band called The Darkness. Watch the video on launch.com (you know, they should really pay me for all my promoting. lol) It's a great song.
I need some new music, badly...it's been way too long since I bought a CD. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who likes mainly alternative rock, and classic rock (but not heavy metal or rap)?
(or maybe just for me) :P I will sing these songs all damn day to myself.<BR> <BR> Baby, I Need Your Lovin'<BR> (The Four Tops)<BR> <BR> Baby, I need your lovin'<BR> Although you're never near<BR> Your voice I often hear<BR> Another day, another night<BR
Hmmm. Too tired to get into it all right now, so I'll come back.
It was the BEST!
