Haven't listened to Jeff in ages! Tim was always more my style. I grew up watching his Pa perform and have fond memories of those days.....

Meh!

As talented as Jeff Buckley was, his brief career was too dependent on cover versions and this new album further confirms that. He had a great voice but, in terms of songwriting, he was nowhere as endearing or prolific as his late father.
Oh deary. What the hell does that have to do with anything? It's a collection of songs he never intended to release. All the cover push came from Sony after he died; not when he was alive. He's not actually out there releasing this stuff. So stop, think and go fuck yourself you edgelord piece of shit.

so what if they had a couple of covers? the original Sin-e he released when he was alive had 2 originals and 2 covers. Not the new version you are referring to. That was released after he kicked le bucklets. And that was the point, to capture his beginnings play bars. I remember his dad covering songs at the university gigs I attended. Most gigging musicians do covers at bar gigs anyway. Covers aren't a bad thing. Do you spite Nina Simone or Billie Holiday? And first you say "heavy reliance" and then mention "one or two covers" per album. LOL Way to hang on to a thread, deary. I like how you avoid all the solo songs he recorded on tour and after Grace. You know, the actual work he was pushing before the fool killed himself. I don't even know why I defend him. haha Can't stand his voice at times.

The point, deary, is that he's dead and never intended for all these covers to come out sooooo make fun of his wonky teeth or whiny voice, but get your facts right and don't move the goal post from your original drive-by sh!t posting. You got caught with the browns still dripping down your shins and were called out. Dun ly to me hun! 😄 And don't act like my hubby's (Tim) son is out there pushing out new cover albums. LOL Blame Sony. It's common sense. They push covers since they are easier to market, especially for film and tv. God knows how many I had to market for Warner in the 80s. I hate marketing LOL But I got paid well. Anyway, I must go now. My planet needs me. So glad I was able to help you in your worldly troubles. Hail Xenu our cosmic overlord!
