I am so excited about this, that I completely neglected to post it HERE where it belongs and instead posted it on the misc. board. 😛
I bought a guitar!! And a couple songbooks, and a music stand, and a guitar stand, and a strap. I'm so fricking excited...I can't wait until it gets here. I ordered it through Musician's Friend. I ordered the least expensive one I could find, and I plan on using it to learn on...until I can afford a "nice" guitar. It's a Rogue Acoustic Dreadnought. I don't know anything about how to play the guitar, except I know one thing that my best friend taught me years ago: the intro to "come as you are", by Nirvana. So anyway I bought some classic rock songbooks and a chord book to help me learn, I only ended up spending a little over $ 100. Actually to be precise it was $ 123.80, for everything. I tried to get the very cheapest of everything, intending to only use the stuff until I'm good at playing and therefore worth spending more money on. lol. Yay I'm happy! I wonder how long it will take before I can play Stairway to Heaven....

I need some new music, badly...it's been way too long since I bought a CD. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who likes mainly alternative rock, and classic rock (but not heavy metal or rap)?
Sometimes I try to do things and it just doesn't work out the way I want it to and I get real frustrated, and like, I try hard and I take my time and it just doesn't work out the way it want it to, i
I'm so excited! It's September 2nd at the Britt Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon. I hope he sings some old stuff...like..."Octopus's Garden"...or just anything from the Beatles. He's such a cutie pie! I hope he drums.
I went thru a stage...in high school...need I say more? I liked the guy & the band a great deal and thought they were pretty revolutionary in what they were saying. I may not hold him/them in such high esteem these days, but I definitely think that he/t
