Does anyone else have an issue with self acceptance?

OK so astrology really frustrates me in a good way.

I always wanted to know who I am.

I have said and done many things to define myself till now.

What happens is that as it seems the idea that I have of me is not really what I bring out to other people.

I always wanted to be this social girl in schools that is cool and talks to everyone while I was just shy and awkward and still had friends though and I could sense and see that..

Later on though astrology came into my life and things got even more confusing.

Like I have this beautiful in my opinion Sag sun in 11th..... Which I can see sometimes playing out

But then a whole stellium of 6 Caps everywhere.

The thing is I ask people and they say yes you definitely look and act like a Cap.

And I am like I just want to be a Sag.

So what the hell is happening?

Is it just me? I know a lot people struggle with their self image.

Is is people, parents views and expectations? Or what?

Ye I do

In sidereal those caps of yours would become sags.

The thing is astrology itself even gives a massively simple view on it - most people will read that your rising sign is how you're perceived by other people, and it sounds attractive but it's impossible to carry yourself to the point you have 100% control over everyone else's perception.

To whatever extent, how you are perceived will always be at the mercy of another person's self image (aka their Rising sign).

As for as what little we can control, I'd just use suggestion. If you want to be a Sag, be a Sag the whole way. Get your friends to call you a Sag. Live, eat, breathe, sleep all things Sag until you don't care about anything but being a Sag. That's how I became a Taurus.

Sounds good.... So are you satisfied now that you are a Taurus with this?

Definitely satisfied. Taurus is probably the most straighforward mode to view life.

I agree with that. If I could choose another sign though I would choose Leo :p

Mars square Saturn too

And Venus conjuct Neptune.... xD

It even says on my chart on Astro.com where people think of me one way when I'm someone completely different and have issues showing who I really am.

I have felt like this since I was a kid and never thought astrology would point that out too.

I really can see why you feel the way you feel.

You inner self (Sun and Moon) are in Libra and Leo, two positive, masculine, extroverted signs.... When your projection/mask/Ascendant what ever is Cap which is negative, feminine, introverted. And also earth. No doubt you have a problem with this just like me.

In fact in your case I guess it's maybe a bit worst cause for example I am Sag Sun with a Cap rising too but other than that I am full of Cap.... So it's familiar to me it just blocks the expression of my Sun which is annoying.

As for you, you have these two signs that want to connect and relate and express beauty maybe (Libra) and some emotions that want to be seen all over and shine and really express in a creative way (Leo)... All depends from house positions and aspects too.



Bottomline I wonder two things.

1) Astrology tells me more stuff about me than I could ever tell for myself, but as far as I don't regognise/realise or even want to accept them... Should i trust it or not

2) Is it worth to put the effort to change ourselves or follow the '' Be yourself '' movement......... It's confusing

Honestly though you should work on that cause its not worth to punish yourself for the past. The past is gone. You were more immature and thought different back then it happens to all of us.

You forgive yourself , evaluate your mistakes, learn from them and go on. 🙂

I didn't give you my whole chart. It has Cap in 3 other planets. If you wanted to see the whole thing I can post it.

I feel like you're overthinking the situation. I tend to do that too.

I believe people don't truly fully understand themselves since were constantly growing older/changing over time.

And since Astrology is human-made and nothings perfect, you can't base everything off of astrology. Even though a lot of the descriptions you see from whatever/wherever you read are mindblowingly true.

I really overthink everything! Just starting trying to reduce that.

.. I agree..... No one is perfect and no one will be..... I just like to read that stuff and search xD
