I've always been fond of names I'd use for a child. I had two shelties, one was Molly and the other Katie.
I always name my pets according to thier attitudes. Like I had a dashound that barked alot and his name was "Barley".
Spelling correction "BARKLEY"
Hey you want to give one of those pups away?
LOL - I think we might be in different countries scorpio 🤢gt;
The tempoorary names so far are:
Fatty (a.k.a. Mr Blobby)- not hard to guess how he got that name!
Gammy - because he has gammy looking legs
Zipper - because she had a hernia when she was born and needed her stomach stitched up again
Blanch - because she's all white
Pepito - the runt of the litter - started out as Petito.
All bar Mr Blobby, I think the names are great...leave 'em...
Blanch is a classic...
There are such things as flights in which they allow animals to board that is a way to get the animail to me. 🙂
I have some very sad news.
Little Pepito had to be put down today as she had a feeding problem, hadn't gained any weight since she was born (even with two hourly supplement feeds), and this morning she experienced respitory failure. It's amazing the bond you build up with a puppy after five days of being a substitute mother. It's all very sad :-
I am sure, I do want to let you know that I am in great greif with your loss. I had a cat once and I didnt have her but three days and was her mom she was a week old, I didnt know that mother animals have to lick the behinds of the babys in order for them to go to the bathroom so I also lost my kitten. Given I was only 12 I did my best to supply my kitten with what it needed.
I had cattle that I named after country western singers. Merle, Hank, Conway, Waylon etc...
How about English name since they are Bull Terriers?
That is cool, cattle with those names. Never thought about that before.
