She'd look sunburned, cancerous and hypothermic.
You'd look guilty of Cruelty to Animals
- a Felony that can get you up to 10 years.
Shaving your cat will only make her shed shorter hairs. You need to have her professionally de-shedded. If you want to do it yourself, you can bathe her with a deshedding formula shampoo, blow dry her with a force blower, and then thoroughly brush her with a furminator. Its a lot cheaper (and a lot less work and mess) to have it done professionally.

I love my cat, but I don't love her hair!
Even after brushing her she sheds a ton of hair. I backward brush her to get as much hair out as possible, and trust me, allot comes out with the brush. But even after she still sheds a TON! I mean allot! Hair flies when I touch her. I brush her outside. I pick her up for a second when I get home (she's so loving she actually comes to the door to greet me 🙂 ) my clothes already have a layer of her hair all over. It's getting annoying! My family complains, it could get into food, guests get grossed out, I get grossed out... But my mother says she'll look ugly and that's when she'll really throw her out. I'm the only cat lover in this house and if I say go a head they WILL get rid of her and I am SO NOT letting that happen. She's my black and white angel!
She's a real beauty but I don't care how she'd look shaved, I want to shave her. I'll love her still, how can I not?! But before I do, I want to know if I have any other options.
