People...Yesterday (Oct 26) was my birthday...

I really am ok being single, really. But the Pisces was at the party too, and didn't even bring me a card, a flower or anything. I was hosting the party and cooked. Isn't it rude to come empty-handed? For that matter, none of the guys brought anything. I don't have feelings for this guy anymore but...being the Scorpio that I am, I just am not settled with our issue. I'm not ok with the way we're both acting like nothing ever happened. That we're not even friends. What an idiot! And i'm an idiot too for wasting my time on caring so much. It's the ego, I guess. Because I'm very sure that I don't have feelings towards him anymore. It's just weird. It's the worst rejection I've ever gotten!

Please don't write saying I shouldn't expect anything--I already know that. But I just hate this! Needed to vent. I felt very empty yesterday.

He didn't compliment my cooking, or thank me for inviting him either...
(none of the guys did for that matter)

Are these people rude or what?

Kaf....

*hugs*

That's jsut terrible...I agree totally...I was raised that if u can't take a something...then u don't go...and you at least thank the host/ess for inviting you!!!

I will probably have the same as u...with my birthday next month...it's almost a year since i been divorced...and well...Pisces men just don't seem that in tune with any important date...(Pisces men please correct me if i am wrong)

I noticed last night...that Pisces actually can teach me allot on how to be insensitive...because sometimes i am not sure who's got the stinger...!

*hugs* and Happy Bday for yesterday!!!

Don't feel bad Kafka, most guys are like that. When me and my friends go to a house party we never bring anything either. I sometimes want to bring something but I feel like an idiot b/c I would be the only one. Sometimes peer pressure does make everyone act the same. I don't know how old you are, but it's usually after the age of 25 or 26 when people start bringing wine and stuff like that. I'm sort of on the cusp πŸ˜‰.

I'm sure you're a great cook. Send me some of your stuff k πŸ˜‰?

Belated birthday Kafka............as for those rudies.....well, that's just what they are and see them as so!

My mother has an expression she drummed into me from early......."Never go to anyone's house with your arms swinging"!!!! I don't! - I ensure I've a bottle of wine.......hey I might drink half myself!!! but at least I bring something.....seriously though, no excuse really for that thoughtlessness.......me thinketh if I had of been in your position...I would have exploded eventually to them all......"Well, where's my pressieβ€”"

It is hurtful - hey next time you have those guys over.....make an extra spicy spciey dish...have them running to the toilets all nite...and hey, guess what.....oh you're so sorry - but "I forgot to buy toilet paper earlier"!!!! Revenge is sweet or spicy!whatever the case may be!!:-)

Ciao my pal.

Since you are normal Turkish girl, it's pretty normal the way you acted. Turkish culture teaches people to supress self confidence which you showed that day...DON'T!

People....Thank youπŸ™‚ You lifted me up. Thank you for the wishes too.

Yummy Mummy: Thanks, girl...You're so sweet. I hug you backπŸ™‚ You understand, right? I cook for these people for 2 days, and they just "show up" and gobble up.

Kupo: "Kafka, there's so much Scorpio in you that it's scary...." How so? Just really curious. Oh, and I turned 26. So I think it's appropriate to expect something.

Haffo: You're right, I think you mean we Turks don't say anything to keep the peace. Sure, I didn't say anything about them coming empty-handed (but you should understand why I find it so rude, being Turkish right?) but I wasn't this sweet angel either. But ok, you're
very right. Our culture does teach us to shut upπŸ˜›

Ok. But I think I was most upset that the guy I liked (Pisces) was so nonchalant.
