Does this Pisces guy like me?

Hi, I'm a Taurus woman with a Sag moon and Leo rising. And my love interest is a Pisces sun and Taurus moon.

I really don't know if he likes me, so maybe you guys can help me out?

He always defends me when someone's being mean to me or if he thinks that I'm hurt, because I'm pretty shy and don't talk a lot in class. But he also gets mad at me sometimes and tries to tell me what's right and what's not. Sometimes I feel like he thinks he's the boss of me.

I really like him and stare at him often but he never stares back at me. Except this one time when I was on the other side of the classroom and he thought I wasn't watching. He was laying back and watching me while he smiled. I think he was daydreaming. And after he did that, he told his friends that he thought I was cute.

I did that once to him too but i thought he wasn't watching but he did and he got kinda mad and said: "What are you looking at?!" But after that he was just acting all normal. Maybe he was just kidding idk.

He also told me he loved me twice but that was after I shared some candy with him lol.

Sometimes when I joke around and say that I don't know him for fun, he seems to get hurt a little until he realizes it was a joke. And I'm not really sure, but I think that he avoids me sometimes because once he needed a sheet of paper and he asked everyone except me, so he asked his friend to ask me for a sheet of paper for him. And when we do school projects we had to change of partner and the teacher put me and him together and when he heard that he kinda stressed out and told his friend to replace him because he doesn't wanna work with me. He thought i didn't hear it, but I did.

Sometimes he also acts really silly around me and says meaningless things or we "play fight."

This guy really confuses me and i dont know what to do. Do you think he only defends me because I'm pretty shy? Or does he have true feelings for me? Or are we just friends?

At this age, it's not always easy to understand one's own feelings, don't worry things will get better when you get to high school.

In the meantime you can try to have activities together like summer camp or sthg.

Your reading into things.

If someone was mean to a dog I'd step in to defend him. Doesn't mean I want to date the dog.

Op, not calling you a dog. Just saying that Pisces are bleeding hearts.

It says more that he doesn't want to be in a group project with you than when he stands up for you.

To say, "always" in the first sentence above suggests that you need to be defended a lot .. which means you must be offensive to others. There's no reason for a person to "always" have a need to be defended otherwise.

Or, to say this "always" happens because he thinks you're hurt means that you are constantly displaying being hurt. There would be no way for him to think you're being hurt if you weren't displaying it.

Then you say because you are shy and not talking in class, as being a reason for needing to be defending or why you're hurt .. which is ridiculous. A person doesn't need to defend another on the basis of being shy.

So, basically .. you're telling fraction of truths here and expecting honest answers .. that says a lot about your character.

Since you obviously have no sound judgment skills (see above) .... it looks like you cannot tell the difference between right and wrong, so naturally someone is going to decide to hold your hand and teach you what your parents should have taught you ... for example: see third quote above .... you're fucking staring at people.
