Anywho, to all my Taurus ladies: I know we are slow to act, and when we do act we want to make sure we're not taking risks. But in love, sometimes it's necessary to take risks.

My question is: Have any of you ladies initiated a relationship with a guy? How did it go? How successful was the relationship? I personally don't know a lot of bullettes that do. I've done it, but haven't been very successful :O

I've done it probably because of my Venus in Aries, but they NEVER worked out anywhere near as well as the relationships where the men initiated and lead.

I have a Gemini friend who almost begged me to take more initiative with approaching men. I just couldn't. I want a man to lead, see what he wants, and pursue it.

Taurus sun but almost all air & fire apart from that...... I've done it so much that I could write a book on what a horrible idea it is lol There's another thread about how men feel about women asking them out, for the most part the men said they would like it. They *think* they would like it, I'm sure it's flattering, but after that it crashes & burns.

I also have a Gemini girlfriend who is aggressive with the guys, and it works well for her 🙂 But I noticed nearly all of my friends that are fixed signs let the men come to them 🙂 It's interesting to note.

Nope. I let the man lead and once he does then I show reciprocation if I like them. With reverse roles, it just does not work...

That's how I am too, but seeing as I'm never approached, I tried to take matters into my own hands by taking initiative, but that doesn't seem to work either 😛

I have a Venus in Aries.

I could account for one time I told a guy I liked him.

I was in the seventh grade, and was sadly rejected by him, my friend was present and witnessed this embarrassing event.

I NEVER asked a guy out again.

However, I DO flirt and beckon men to me instead.

This works every time.

It's all in the eyes.

I think for some Taurus women (despite our placements), it's in our DNA to be courted. We're Venusian Earth sign traditional women. I think pursuing a man takes away from it all. It takes us out of our element. I heard horror stories about some Taurus women being Sugar Mommas. It may stem from a mixture of things, generosity, the Aries/Gemini Venus Chase, the maternal instinct, the protective vibe, and then the men DON'T want to do anything...but sit and relax.

If you do ask him out, make sure he leads afterwards and do all the rest.

I pity the women who pursue Taurus men though. Taurus men are absolutely wonderful, but from what I hear on this board, they want the women to do all the chasing.

This has to be difficult for the woman.

I know many Gemini women who actively pursue men and it works....every time!

They're very confident women, what can I say.

They're quite optimistic too, much like their Sag polar opposite.

As a stereotypical earth sign, we overthink everything, we expect the worst to protect and prepare ourselves for the inevitable.

I'd like to think we're confident too, in spite of our tendencies to ruminate and avoid risks 🙂
