when i beat myself up it's either over smth i imagine, or smth i actually did badso now i try to tell whoever about what's in my head
then they can either tell me i did wrong or tell me i'm imagining things
communication really helps break worry
But for me
communication is often how I make things worse.........
it's how I am destructive in terms of my personal relationships.
What do you then?
I mean an apology is warranted but I feel like any more contact will make things worse.
Until then though how do I stop mentally punishing myself.
I mentally tell myself oh well, can't undo it, but don't let it happen again. And then I try to move on.
But if it's something that can be fixed, I try to fix it.
During those times, i allow myself to feel everything that's bothering me.
I will actually set a time to feel everything. Like a quiet time.
I don't hide or ignore it
But usually its something so small or a mistake. I find i am shaming myself for something that's almost non-existent.
After i acknowledge it, it becomes so small and doesnot bother me.
Pisces need time away from the world to gather themselves. Regular private moments can really strengthen us.
I realize i don't have to take so many days away from everyone to recharge if i do this regularly in small time frames.
I am at the point where i tell my friends i need time to myself and they respect it.
We screw up, its important to forgive ourselves.
Well, For starters ,I have a Sun-Saturn Conjunction.. So I can be quite brutal to myself.. Especially, if I failed at something unintentionally.. Aww man I can be a complete a** to myself.
However, I usually beat myself up by thinking/saying negative things. So, I try to reverse my thinking/saying from negative to positive..
Now, If the negative to positive thinking/saying method doesn't work, then I'll try two other methods.
Methods:
1) Talk with a veryyyyy close individual ( My Aunt ONLY!! She's a Pisces as well)
but if she's unavailable, then onto the next method
2) Try to go somewhere where I can feel FREE. I go on these long walks and hikes. Now, I made this deal with myself that when I reach this far.. I cannot leave feeling the same way I came. So, I'll stay as long as I have to.
But, I hope you can take some tips from everyone commenting on this thread, and find what best works for you.

How do you stop beating yourself up after you intentionally or unintentionally do something destructive and or just something stupid......for lack of a better word.
I know I have issues that cause me to do certain unhealthy things especially when it comes to interacting with other people........
but I also know that it is also extremely unhealthy the way I beat myself up for things I'm just now aware of and that I'm currently trying to work on.
