Well, you seem like a lovely person so she must have had a very fulfilling life.. Is she an older doggy? My well wishes are with you both, hope she goes in peace... :/

Thank you, I try to be. My husband didn't want her so it showed, she could have had it better than she did but he's feeling the affects and has soften toward her. We both want to make her last days the best for her. She's quite young yet, she's only five but in these two breeds, it's hereditary. This is just the first I've encountered it with my own dog.
