What do Pisces guys think about Gemini girls?

I had a high school sweetheart who was a Pisces. He was perfectly awesome. But, then he went to Army and broke up with me and didn't seem phased in the slightest. I think I saw it coming, so I was guarded when it happened and I wished him the best. But I always wondered what Pisces REALLY things of Gems.

One of my best friends is a Gem married to a Pisces guy and she says everyday is heaven on earth. They just had their second child.

Everything I read says these two aren't so compatible. Which is weird as I've had a personal experience and several observations where the pairing is like, soul-mate perfect (looking at least).

I think the two have great potential.

I read some data posted on this site by someone about relationship success rate with marriages and
with Pisces males, Gemini women came in number 2. Scorpios were first. And Aquarius were number 3.
