Why does Pisces stare when I argue at him?

I've noticed this with three different Pisces men so far. Why do they stare and look lost when I argue with them? It's like they have this ethereal yet intense look but it is kind of difficult to describe. Is it because they try to imagine the possibilities, or because they are afraid or what?

It drives me nuts too. I keep telling them (Don't stare at me like that). I wonder why they do it and what they're thinking. And they don't seem to be angry with me afterwords either.

Or giving puppy eyes.. works for me.

But don't they usually look a bit to the side and kind of lost when they're thinking? All three of these guys look straight at me, with that stare/far away look.

Giving puppy eyes = a way to gain sympathy or pity?

Unintentionally.. yes.

I can't cope in arguments so I just stare like a "lost puppy"

And what do you hope to accomplish by staring like a lost puppy? Do you hope that the other person will get tired and stop arguing? And then you go back to treating them the same?

It is hard to describe!

I guess its just focus..I cant put it into the right words.

When these pisces give you that stare do they look into both of your eyes or just one (if youve noticed)?

What's the point in arguing if the person doesn't listen? I can't win with hardheads. Just want them to go away with their negativity.

Placidd, I've noticed that they look at both eyes at the same, which is weird as I have a hard time doing it. What does it mean?

Maybe they are escaping into an alternate dimension.

I agree with Besarlalluvia...Hardheads I have no patience with...SO I just look at them with a "do you really want to eff with me" look and give them that stare.


Lotus - hm...Im not sure..I pick one eye in an argument and stay on it the whole time.
maybe thats what they do but it looks like they're staring at both at the same time? unless you can see their eyes shifting back and forth.


when it comes to me, when I give them that stare, it means I am very serious about whatever is being discussed. at the same time it goes off as a warning because depending on whatever is said to me, and how well I know the person Im talking to, I could reply with something really harsh and damaging.

it could mean the same thing for other fish, but not everyone thinks the same.

that too haha. if I dont want to listen I will just glaze my eyes over when I look at the person, or just not give any acknowledgement of whatever it is that is being said.

I hate being yelled at about my faults. I can just feel my eyes glazing over.

Again, I repeat, what if they know what they did was wrong? And you give them an ultimatum or a way to fix something. They agree they are wrong and you tell them i.e., "if you do not reveal the truth, I will do it for you. Better you do it though." Something along those lines anyway.
And then they stare at you with puppy eyes throughout your retort? And when the following day you ask them to do something, they oblige and do it happily?
Seriously something I've noticed with three different Pisces dudes so far.

hey, just because i can't follow your logic or approach does not make your logic right or better. i asked you a simple question which you cannot answer....do they look in both eyes or only one? can you explain it or not? the third eye? the bulls eye?

I was asking that because I dont know if other fish look in just one eye of someone they are talking to when in an argument because I am not sure if anyone besides myself does it.

I like the stare-in-one-eye approach because I feel like it gets a point across more sternly.

probably doesnt want to tell you the truth because it would hurt your feelings. like, not bringing yourself to tell someone something you know the other person wouldnt like, or would feel inadequate/hurt/rejected/etc. because of it.


since they know they are guilty, those pisces probably are doing something to help make amends for their wrongdoing. thats my call on the matter.

Actually, two of these Pisces guys are my cousins. So it's not only romance related. Pisces men can't stand arguments and women who stand up to them.

Deezie, I tend to overanalyze. I have a fascination with human psychology.

I have noticed. I think everyone has. some things just are though. no particular reason. like how a lot of cancer men share a hairline....

Am not a guy but i do that especially when i dont want to listen to what you are saying. I can give u a look but my mind is miles away then the next minute ill be like huh....what did u say?

Or i can be that my mind has just switched to thinking of how all this argument came about and when the hell are u gonna stop opening ur mouth and leave so that i can analyze the situation by myself.

My brother is a Pisces man and when he looks at me with an intense look I know that he looks at me because he wants to make sure that I am not lying. I'm a pisces too so 🙂 I can tell that's what he's doing because I do the same haha We pisces also like to look like we know what we are talking about. It's like a mind game too so if he's arguing with you and he knows you're right, he'll try to make sure that he thinks you think he knows he's right. It's confusing but true. Works like a charm with me.

pretty sure that's every man who is being "reprimanded" - as if he were a child

but anyway... we're more concerned with what the stare means whilst being.... that's the noteworthy psychology here.

Pisces is far from hardhead. He dosen't know what to say nor does he want to argue because he is protecting his feelings. So he would rather just stare and say nothing.
