WTF is it? why should I give a damn about it?

Business was always about buying cheapest and selling highest - with globalization one can buy the real cheapest and sell the real highest.

Should you worry ? - underprepared populace will sink further.

I read the book the world is flat by Thomas Friedman.

I disagree with many things it says. For instancxe, it said that the world is shrinking, yet I see many people are still isolationistic and afraid to travel in another country.

The distance between people is still as great as ever, and contacts have become more impersonalized through computers and emails rather than face to face. more often than not, we do not even know who we are talking to. Hence the pyschological distance between people are becoming greater and greater.

The only symbol of globlaization i can think of is Mc Dodonalds.

And there are many people who still prefer to stay at one job for 10 years. I think these people are going to become extinct.
