Today to show solidarity with people in their struggle against terrorism and to promote political/administrative accountability, rule of law and efficient economic reforms a 'Marathon for Peace' was organised. It was a grand sucess with 30,000 participants from all walks of life- most heart warming scene being the physically challenged people and senior citizens being part of it with full gutso. It is a first of its kind series of events in creating awareness and mobilising public opinion towards better governance and accoutnability including a determination to face the challenge of terrorism.
