This comes from a nonpartisan position .. looking at screw ups from an astrological slant.

Millard Fillmore (Capricorn) = delayed the Southern secession by allowing slave states to spread

Franklin Pierce (Sag) = The Ostend Manifesto & Kansas-Nebraska Act .. these expansion of slave states helped set the stage for the Civil War

James Buchanan (Taurus) = His major secession screw up actually STARTED the Civil War .. instead of diffusing it had he not turned-coat.

Andrew Johnson (Capricorn) = Veto's Civil Rights Acts .. freedom "rights" delayed until next Presidency.

Warren Harding (Scorpio) = Plundered treasury to support gambling habit

Herbert Hoover (Leo) = Fueled trade wars & exacerbated The Depression

Dwight Eisenhower (Libra) = Failed to diffuse The Cold War

Cold War travasties:
Harry Truman (Taurus) = Korean War
Dwight Eisenhower (Libra) = Cuban Misile Crisis
Lyndon Johnson (Virgo) = Vietnam

Harry Truman (Taurus) = authorized atomic bombs on Hiroshima & Nagasaki

Richard Nixon (Capricorn) = Watergate Scandal

Just to name a few .. it appears that Earth people make the worst political decisions. Of course, this isn't all .. these are just major issues within our history. I'll come back later and do what element makes the best.

Actually, it was my understanding that Kennedy diffused the crisis .. that Eisenhower was the one who perpetuated it .. you sure you got your facts right?

Kennedy was the one who ended it. I'm not a historian, so what do I know?

Kennedy left a lot of cubans and U.S. special ops stranded at the bay of pigs, this started the crises. Castro took over in 59 while Eisenhower was in office. interesting time I spent 45 days in the everglades waiting for the invation of cubia.
