I notice the older I get the more I become disenchanted in relationships and people all together. Life speeds fast people around me are really nothing special. its rather odd. It is not that I do not give people chances or think ill of them, its that overall the quality of people is very poor. No I am not in a little village, and I go out to various places. But there is something that exists in the universe which makes me feel the way I do. The idea of relationships and love seem to be an alien concept that is only available and realistic in Disney. lol. In all seriousness not sure if Im just a bizarre person or maybe its my sun sign and venus that makes this sensation..
Anyone else in the same boat, or ever been here?

I've felt this way many times as I'm sure most people have but when I've really looked at it honestly, I'm guilty of what I accuse others of. We are all equally capable of acting out the worst sides of us as well as the good. You can't expect life and people to be better than us. Life is what it is; the good and bad. And it isn't just what you put into it is what you'll get. No you can get smacked in the face even if you're all light and love. The rewards are not immediate but you have to remain who you are and be steadfast. Focus on what you want like a laserbeam. You're never alone in this feeling but as long as you're projecting the right energy, in time, you'll meet the right people.

I think as I've got older I have become more aware of how fake the standard definitions of a good relationship and a proper marriage or family are. I have become more open minded about what would be considered a good partner. We are raised with a relationship stereotype. Once we grow out of that stereotype we shed it like a cicada sheds its skin. That's my theory anyway.

I suspect true love is just around the corner! LOL.
