That's what I was told by someone who read the charts. And she encouraged me to do much more asap to keep him. However, with him already said that, how can I express?

We've known each other over a year and were intimate for months before I left his country.
He's been in touch almost daily, which I like and that's why we're going to "reunite" in Sept., like a holiday thing.
What bothers me the most is when he doesn't msg, my scorpio moon (or other placements) would start to think negatively, then I'd be even passive.
I've realised that I like him, and have been considering to "reveal" that to him when we meet; however, he made it clear long time ago that he valued his freedom, didn't want a girlfriend, a formal relationship wouldn't work because of the distance.
