I'm a gemini woman, and I'm not sure if my leo guy friend likes me

So I have this friend who is a leo. He and I are friends with benefits. I met him through his roommate, and I've heard stories about how he is with women (not abusive just never does the relationship thing). I'm confused because when I talk to his friends and roommates they get confused as to how he's treating me. He is always inviting me to hang out or watch movies. I've met all his friends now and from what I heard he usually only does one night stands, he usually kicks the girl out of his bed when they're finished, but with me when. I try to leave he usually grabs me around the waist and pulls me back onto the bed to spoon. There are even times where we don't even have sex, we just cuddle on the couch or in his bed and sleep. Lately he's been calling me baby instead of my real name. I was at his place the other night when he was having a party and when he said everyone needs to go because he wanted to go to bed, I was the only one he said could stay. I admitted to him that I wouldn't mind a relationship with him but he said he's not the relationship type of guy. All the ways he's been acting towards me has been confusing me and his friends. I can't tell if he likes me or not, and I know since he's a leo I need to back off now that I've told him that I like him, but I'm not sure if he actually likes me or I'm just someone he sleeps with occasionally.

From what I've been told by his roommates, I'm the only one he's sleeping with. Both his roommates know that he and I are just friends with benefits and they used to try and get in my pants as well, but I was told last night that my leo friend told them to back off. I know he said he isn't the relationship type of guy but he has been in relationships, but from what I've heard his last girlfriend hurt him pretty bad.
