Leo woman Taurus male advice.

I recently met a Taurus man. From the beginning he was super interested in me but I was wary that he was only looking for a hook up. After listening to him open up about his life I realized this guy has been through a lot and is still dealing with a lot. I let him in finally and we were spending almost all of our time together. He is moving back to his home state and we both knew this going in but the amount of time we spent together really brought us close and I believe we were both starting to have feelings for each other.

Besides all of the fun we were having together he was constantly getting text messages from his ex wife that was desperately trying to manipulate him with their daughter to try to win him back. I noticed one day that he finally pulled away from me. I felt betrayed because I had told him she was manipulating him and he agreed but he gave into her.

I had told him from the beginning that I'm very assertive and honest (especially being a Leo). I expressed my frustration with the situation to him and he completely shut down and has said only a few things to me. He has apologized and told me he really likes hanging out with me but I stressed him out by bringing more drama into his life that he already has enough of from his ex. I told him I was only trying to make things better so we could continue what we had.

I'm wondering if this is just a phase he's going through and if I'll hear from him again. I told him I really want to see him before he moves and that I was really starting to have feelings for him. I feel like a screwed up and there's nothing I can do to remedy the situation anymore.
