this unsettles me. apparently i have taurus in my 7th house so i'm drawn to stable, long-term relationships (true) with scorpio rising (fixed sign) and virgo sun (earth) but this pisces in the 5th house seems to be the opposite of that. i don't think i could even allow myself to fall in love with someone whose circumstances i know would be difficult to have a long-term relationship with. i don't think the "different family or social background" applies at all since my family and i are pretty liberal, so scratch that. i'm not at all attracted to younger men and having an affair is against my moral code so i can't even begin to think what will result from this position. or is there more to this position than scandal?

anyone else with pisces in their 5th house relate to this description on cafe astrology? forbidden love affairs or scandal in your romantic relationships?

it's a generic reading. pisces 5th. a tinge of sadness to how ur romantic affairs will play out is what they're saying.

u have to look at what neptune is doing. most likely it's touching pluto. so your romantic life is actually tinged with intensity. plus other planets touching it...

my neptune is sextile pluto! well yes even the guys i've casually dated somehow someway turns into something intense.. but definitely not forbidden or anything. i don't find forbidden love romantic really. usually that connotes immorality no? at least to me it does.

The funny thing is, I friend zoned those who are "7th house" material and dated those who are "5th house" material. I understand that romantic love may have a shorter shelf life than a friendship relationship.

i have a friend who had developed some feelings for me. capricorn. definitely would fit the bill for the kind of marriage a taurus in the 7th house would expect. but i don't think i could ever see past him as a surrogate brother. in fact, he gives me advice about the 5th house men. but maybe that's it... our romantic idealizations of love and the realization that love in friendship is more enduring. maybe we subconsciously friendzone these 7th house men because they are deserving of something more long-lasting.

or maybe i'm just being emo and pessimistic at the moment.

i'm not much into rebellion either... :/ i just want to have something FRIGGIN NORMAL for once. however i do have venus in libra so although i like stable and normal.. i want my partner to have SOMETHING quirky about him or about us. QUIRKY, not immoral or rebellious.

basically i like going on adventures and i want my partner to be my adventure buddy. kind of like finn and jake.

Wow- this is an incredibly specific description! I have Pisces in the 5th, but never had "a lovely little family" because of my forbidden love!

I did have a secret lover, though. There were circumstances that made it necessary to keep things on the down-low (a long story, but it doesn't involve cheating). It was kind of a bummer when our relationship became known to our friends, because it was pretty exciting having the secret!

Wow- this is an incredibly specific description! I have Pisces in the 5th, but never had "a lovely little family" because of my forbidden love!

🙂 do you think though that the excitement of having to keep it on the down low is one of the reasons why you continued with the relationship? as in, if you DIDN'T have to keep it a secret, would you have the urgency to be/stay in the relationship?

in retrospect, i hid my first relationship from my guy friends for a couple months. my girlfriends knew about it though. but it was more like a burden than anything... not exciting for me.

Yes. The secrecy spiced things up, but I was very in love (even before we started our relationship) and I wanted the guy just as much once our relationship was revealed.
