Really like this cap guy/so confused-Virgo woman/c

I'm a female Virgo, first met this Cap guy a year ago, and instant attraction. Nothing came about it though, because he had a girlfriend. I ran into him again in April, and he told me his relationship ended last fall. We then communicated through text for three weeks getting to know our likes & dislikes, and seen we had a lot of the same views and things in common. he said he liked me a lot, and in one message that he wanted to touch me. he finally got the nerve to come over and we spent the majority of the weekend together. We were both amazed by the chemistry and connection we had, it was unbelievable, and grew more intense each time we were together. I'm 42 years old, and no man has ever made me feel the way this cap guy has. After a couple of months seeing each other once or twice a week, he's always busy doing something, I wanted a little more time. To make a long story short, it all happened so fast, and with me being a Virgo and not researching a Capricorn male traits, I was a little too emotional/heavy and pushed him away to the point he ignored me. Also, I know he was in the last relationship for three years, was hurt pretty bad, and has a lot of fear.

After two weeks, I called him, we talked about everything, except for what happened between us. Any thoughts to what this means? Is there still potential for future relationship here? Thanks so much for your time reading this and appreciate any feedback or thoughts on how to fix this.🙂
