a little while after girl finds out guy is talking to another girl..but still asked her out..girl trys to have convo with guy...

He doesn't want you to feel bad so he's trying to say something nice. He sounds like he is pretty casual about things. I'm guessing you are both young. Have fun. Date lots of guys. And when you meet someone who shows a bit more enthusiasm then maybe have a relationship. Maybe he needs to play the field a bit before he's ready. And don't use texts to communicate important stuff. You sound shy - try to get more confident speaking face to face. Resorting to texts means you don't challenge yourself in this area so you clam up when someone asks you out. I know it's hard to start with, but you will reap huge rewards if you can hold your own in f2f conversations.
