Quoted from one of the best laid out studies I've found.

"This research shows that astrological sign has no impact on the probability of marrying — and staying married to — someone of any other sign. For decades, popular astrologers have promoted the idea of —love signs??: compatibility between partners with certain combinations of birthdays. If the more than twenty million married people in England and Wales offer any indication, however, lonely hearts who worry about the zodiac are wasting their time."

Astro Love

I did notice in looking at this study, that the "Self" signs (Aries - Cancer) tend to marry more than the others... with Pisces following.

Taurus seems to commit for life. Taurus/Taurus marriages are high

March Pisces like to stick together as well

It made reference to the fact spouses may put down the same day (different month)for each other... or people are attracted to others who are close to their date of birth.

I'm a cusper and am drawn to other cuspers... whether you believe cusps exist or not. I was born on the 24th and my partner is the 22nd.

My ex's parents are both March Pisces, 6th and 11th.

Sun sign alone is pretty bonkers compatibility wise. But anyone who reads about astrology for longer than ten minutes figures that out.

Real synastry though is where it's at.

I think the further you look into astrology you learn the different levels. Planets, aspects, houses and the tapestry of yourself begins to unravel.

Same with synastry. How/Why you come together....then Composite. I really like the composite since when two people's energies come together... it's going to create it's own combined energy and the relationship takes on a life of it's own.

I thought this study had bones to it compared to that other Marriage by Sign/Divorce one. That other one is just a bunch of numbers. Doesn't have a source, sample size, location, year the study was conducted etc.

For the most part the article makes sense. However on another note, I get along great with all signs of the opposite sex who are 3rd decans. Similar interests, upbringing, beliefs, morals, ability to communicate, effort and patience are all that's needed for a decent relationship. Astrology has nothing to do with it.
