Because i have two friends who are both Cancer - they are too trusting and too ready to give their hearts to the first person that shows an interest. They are also very honest and open from the word go.
I can see "BOTH" of them getting hurt badly.

i'd also throw in people that have a lot of cancer influence in their charts as well - i have a gemini friend with a lot of cancer in his chart and he's certainly been through a lot of heartache.
actually i'd go for cancers, scorps and pisceas because they do rule the emotions, therefor they're the most susceptible to getting hurt because of them.
i admit this as i'm a scorp myself 🙂

yeah I agree definitely the water signs. all three but especially scorps and cancers, we get attached faster then pisces.

someonespecial, yeah, from experience pisces don't get attached as much as cancers and scorps.It can be a blessing and a curse in the same time.I know and i admit to feeling too strongly and getting attached quite quickly - i'm working on this though 😛

These people look to outside of themselves to secure their happiness. They want others to approve of them, accept them, and will therefore lay their feelings in the lap of another person to nurture for them.

Well, how can a person who does this not get hurt? People are out for themselves, and have their own feelings they are loyal to.

If a person looks to another to approve of them, for them, and their feelings are dependent upon this .. then I don't see how there can be any other outcome except for their feelings to get hurt.

You can't put Taureans in this category for the reason being that Taureans very rarely open up their feelings ... and when they do it will only be to someone they totally trust.

id too have to agree that cancers by far are more vulnerable to getting their hearts smashed into tiny pieces.
well. at least taking those situations and putting them on a pedestal.
i had a cancer friend once who would consistently talk about who was all over her, who wasnt, past loves ect. i swear this woman hardly ever talked about anything else. and everything was soooo intense with her. and her always suspicious of everything and everyone around her.
i say cancers, but they also put themseleves in these situations.

If by the question you mean which sign is most likely to get hurt FIRST (normally before things in the relationship/friendship take off to a deeper level) would have to be Cancer. Cancer's love the concept of love itself sometimes more than they do the person & I think once Cancers see something that appears to be gold, they'll automatically assume it is & jump face foward in without realizing that the other person's whole intention was just to dip his feet in the water, not jump competely in. And when this happens, Cancers feel a sense of rejection but at the same time confusion because in their hearts, they thought jumping in was the "instint" they've obtained. There's always a battle between head & heart with Cancers.

Now if the question means which sign is most likely to be hurt "all the time" then I'd have to say Pisces because of their sensitivity to everything around them that only heightens when love is in the picture. Plus, Pisces has a tendency to dwell alot on the past, thus even if in a new relationship they will most often than not still carry some old baggage (either well hidden or bluntly in your face) from a past relationship's hurt, scandal or wrongness.

I agree with krys's Cancer points...I can't say anything I'm thinking around Cancers until I'm 110% sure.

- Can't count how many times I've told a Cancer something and they jump in and try to help me get it or advice me for hours about it - by then I've so totally forgot what I said - then I have to pretend I want it 😕

Again, i know ive gone on about it before but ive had relationships with 3 Aries, and they were all "More Than Capable" of Hurting, not being hurt.
The problem is they are so "Likeable" that its very easy to grow attached to them very quickly, thats not their fault.
They have Charm and Warmth - A Dangerous Combination
But (certainly the ones i knew) once you scratched beneath the surface, there really wasnt much there!!!
I love Aries but only as friends, i learned my lesson.

Dogs, people say Aries because Aries shows you hurt, if they're hurt, no hiding it but it doesn't last for more than 5 secs...and happy again...lalalalala...because of that beneath the surface...everything is on top...most signs hide so much beneath that they always carry around hurt...but the thing is Aries is one of the hardest signs to get intimate with...they show you feelings and warmth and blah...but there's always a part that stays hidden...if you can't get there, the relationship's not good, you're not the one...move on after the fun's over...

Aries are capable of hurting because of the directness, ramming, etc......that's why I generally stay away from Cancers...have to tiptoe...the only sign that can handle that well is Sag, Aqua, Gemini because they don't take it personal...they just intellectualise or philosophize it or turn it into a joke...

I'd have to say Cancer, Pisces, & Scorpio in a sense that they get hurt more faster than those in other signs. But in terms of signs that are most likely to hurt the most in the long run or dwell the most on past relationships, I'd have to say Taurus.
