No, i don't think so. As i rule i refuse to let my happiness become dependant on another.
I do really love other peoples energy and i do love giving and receiving affection but the attention can come from anywhere my partner, my friends, a funny conversation with a stranger. (In saying that the is obviously a special place in my heart given to my partner).
Not sure if you have watched this video but i found her description to be very interesting and i really connected with a lot of it. She kind of touches on your question.

Do they "depend" on their lover's attention given to them? As if their happiness depends on it? Or is it a virgo thing, since they like being needed in a healthy way by their SO?
