Venus in Capricorn to focus on career first

The younger man who I'm slowly falling for, I have noticed a subtle change in him. He still treats me well, shows concern for me but he has not been specifically trying to exclusively be spending time with me. Last Friday evening we had the opportunity to talk exclusively. I brought up the romance topic - I asked him if he has any interest in any of the female colleagues at work, as I can sense a few of them quite interested in him & he could have won them if he put some initiatives & effort. He then said that currently he can't be thinking of this as he is facing a huge problem with his career. To be honest, I could see this coming & I was just thinking "Ditto, Venus in Capricorn alright!"

Anyway, he claimed he hasn't found any romantic interest among our colleagues. I understand his worries & I respect his stand so I don't think there will be much progress between us too for now. I'll be happy for him if he's starting to seriously figure out about his career.

He's a younger male colleague who I initially had zero attraction towards, but he slowly endeared himself towards me. However, I still have hesitations especially since he has just started his career not long ago & hasn't been stable in the financial sense. It's amusing that he is willing to give up a medical career (he graduated with a medical degree) for some personal reasons (he has shared with me) despite being able to earn more. So all along since meeting him earlier this year, he appears as someone who doesn't put high importance to financial success & seems to be carefree about his financial prospect as long as it is enough for him to get by. It was just a few months ago when there were jokes going around about him being miserly wanting to save up to marry/propose to a girl of his dream.. Actually that's when I started to realise he seems to be showing a lot of interests in me because when colleagues teased him about it they would subtly be looking my way as if anticipating my reactions. Yeah, the atmosphere was kind of awkward but cute. As much as he is miserly towards others, he always extends his generosity towards me though. Anyway, those days seem to be fading away anyhow as he hasn't shown his interests towards me as much these days. But anyway, I wouldn't say it's solely because of me xP the thought of going into a relationship & settling down has finally made him realised to consider his career seriously & build his financial stability which I'm happy for him for this change in him. Haha

I have Venus in Capricorn as do 2 of close male friends. Establishing ourselves in our career is definitely a big deal. We aren't in a rush to get married until we've gotten certain things established. Relationships can take a backseat, especially in early to mid 20's while we work hard to establish ourselves.

We aren't showy in romance. It's a more practical placement so I bet its frustrating getting a read on him.This venus especially doesn't ever act like they need a partner so we can come off a little cold. This depends HEAVILY on other placements in his chart though.
