Ever since my Dad passed in 2012, i have had constant reminders of his presence...they always take me by surprise and i never take them for granted. There are too many to recall, but a couple of nights ago, i was in bed listening to a radio station and i asked if he was there....the next thing i knew one of his very favourite songs started to play. The weird thing is, the station is an ambient lounge music one and the song that played is not in the genre of music at all.... He used to sing it to my Mum and she would join in and then they would dance around the sitting room together, he used to hold her so tight ......lovely memories.
For anyone struggling with the passing of someone they love, i just wanted to say .. they never went away ... they are still here for you.
