then you find out i wake up to the top gun anthem or the lion king soundtrack
it's all downhill from the first night

Well it does no good. It gets deadly and ugly. It never lasts.. No matter how much we girls may want it too.. There is always something to destruct it.

Dont get down on yourself. There's a dude out there who will build a stable love with you over time.
I just need my Love is synonymous with obsession. Mutual day 1 obsession is a wet dream.
I need both. Crazy passion in the beginning then on/off throughout the relationship. It can never just go dead, I couldn't stay happy that way. I know it can't stay that way , the boring parts are ok, real relationships need that & thrive on that.. Love is very real, whether it's fall in love right away or take your time type love or something nicely in between. As long as it's not on some psycho shit LOL
It actually sounds like you just want consistency OP.
After years of falling in love instantly, disappointment from unrealistic expectations, my Scorp moon tripping me up so I fall face down in pursuit of a delusion - I'd go for slow love the next time around. Life is too short to continue making mistakes that may end up hurting both parties involved.

guess you are right. when i see someone show interest one day and then be indifferent the next, my heart sinks. because yesterday it was happy, today it is sad, i can't handle that, i want the same consistent feeling everyday. i want to not worry that today if i look dull that will change his mind. i want to feel the same interest consistently.

I think love is entirely a delusion, sex is meant for reproduction, which means kids will love their parents and vice versa, the age difference makes it a huge deal, the love is unconditional.
Compared to that, l think it's very hard for two parents to love eachother, actually impossible...

i feel there is more security in the slow love because that is when you are comfortable being boring with each other, there is no trying to impress but just liking each others company. instant love i think can pass instantly to someone else. there are more chances of feeling insecure not knowing how long it will last. but to fall in love slowly the problem is at first you will not know that this can turn into love, and so you end up thinking the fast love is real and end up in a heart break. after all the fast loves are gone what remains is slow permanent love i guess. haha i don't know what i am saying, but just that it feels nice when someone gives you that comfortable feeling time after time and you can just be yourself in front of them.I understand what you are saying.

i don't know what else to say except maybe that it takes time to realize the slow love, since the person is always around and consistent maybe you don't initially feel the attraction or the emotions, but slowly when the person has seen you during your high and low and still stayed the same with you, day in and day out, you start valuing their company and start feeling emotions that you never felt before for them. the routine, plain days with them give you more comfort than the flirty days with someone else.
