Is to make his woman happy?

I read that somewhere. I wonder if it's true? Is one of the more satisfying aspects of a happy relationship for a man when he knows he's making his woman happy?

What does she do to let you know she's happy? Is it appreciation? Support? A simple thank you? An aknowledgment of your efforts? A smile? An attitude?

So men, is this theory based on truth or is it based on assumption? Please share.

There is a large degree of truth in it, or used to be anyway. Like dogs, men are happiest when they have a job to do. Providing womens' needs used to be that job. (provide security -- physically, financially, emotionally)

In turn, men want to be appreciated for their efforts and admired for putting their own needs last. (self-sacrifice)

Largely, the mole roles in relationships, and in society, are vanishing by the day. This has left many ladies wondering where are the real men? And, left many men wondering how to be real men?

I don't mean it that the man should "cater" to or only provide her needs.

I mean that women who are happy with their man and let him know all his efforts make her happy are men who are happier in a relationship.

For instance, a woman who nags or complains or criticizes him is NOT a happy woman, so a man wouldn't be happy with her.

A smiling woman fulfills her man more than an frowning one.

Well, I will say this, it makes me feel good and happier in a relationship when I know my man is happy.

It does go both ways.

I'll toast to that. Balance and communication are pretty vital for me in maintaining happiness. Let's face it I'm aqua I hardly expect a "I love you" or even need a verbal reassurance. It depends entirely on the couple in question.

I mean cancers.... well... cancers...

Before I would only look for what I'm going to be getting (this was when I was young) after a lot of life experiences and wisdom I'm learning that my job is to make my Queen happy.

To me now, a relationship isn't about me, it's about we. The reason I am in one is because I chose that special lady, the one I want to spoil with my heart and material things (not always material things though) and in return if she truly loves me her reason should be to make me happy. It's an agreement, although if she doesn't think that I'm not going to try less. She is my Queen, my SO, my better half. I am super satisfied and beyond happy to know my lady is happy with me, that instills that trust and confidence in me and I won't have to worry/wonder if she's trying to fill in gaps with someone else.

For her to show me she's happy, give me reassurance. Compliment me, laugh with me, touch me randomly and don't be ashamed of me.

That's just beautiful.
