Absolutely...
As they say, "If it's meant to be, it'll be"
That is of course unless you both end up meeting other people in the mean time. By the time you guys actually find yourself back to eachother, 1 or both of you might've moved on & found someone else.
There's only so long you can/should "wait" on someone. There's plenty of other fish in the sea that you'll both have a great connection with. Of course no one ever wants to think this way in the moment when they're really digging someone hard, BUT it's the truth. Don't put your love life on hold for anyone, especially if a future with this guy isn't guaranteed.

For example a Guy and a girl have feelings for each other but certain circumstances allow them not to be together at the momegunt....e.I the military. ..the Guy is about to leave for the military and doesn't want to start something because he knows he wont be around to be with her
The girl obviously knows she has to move on because obviously They cant be together right now.
Could they possibly be together in the future??
