Anyone ever come across a situation where one out of a couple wanted the other to be their equal before taking the next step in their relationship, such as marriage.
By example, one is already a homeowner with a mortgage and wanted their partner to also be a homeowner with mortgage before getting married. Another example would be for both to pass their driving test or both to finish paying student loans before moving in together.
You think such situations is odd/wierd, good idea/bad, too controlling or the opposite?
