The girl should aim for her purse and show that she is fully capable of picking her own tab, but then the key moment shows up. If the guy says that he'll take it, then bingo! He knows how to make a good first impression and you keep him 🙂

I would never expect a gu to pay, dont care who asks who out. If I ask a guy out t is not because I am planning on paying for him. I will pay for myself and he can pay for himself, if he insists on paying I will not sit there all ight refusing but I would never be expecting him too. I earn more then most of the guys I date so dont see why they should have to fork out for it.

Back in the old days women didnt work, or have the capability to work which was why it made sense for the guy to have to take them out. Hope all the people who expect the guy to pay arnt the ones who moan when the guys tell them to go wash their pots and tiy the house and do all the other typical "woman duties" 😛

Honestly? From a traditional standpoint, Yes. BUT if he doesn't, will I hold it against him? No, b/c I have my own money, I'm not a gold digger nor do I expect for someone I barely know to feel the urge to pay my way in everywhere

If he invites me out, I'd expect him to pay simply b/c he asked me to go. But the same goes for everyone else. If you invite me somewhere, I'm assuming that you're atleast OK with (not obligated) to pay for me.
