How many people speak and then find a reversal of fortune in the works?
How many people come here to say their relationship is so wonderful, and then it crashes and burns one week later?

Is it best to stfu?

Haha I don't believe that a person can "jinx" themselves simply by embracing their wonderful relationship

I think it's all about a person's attitude. Some people are in denial & are in la-la land & go around bragging about something that's silver even though they swear it's golden.

So half the time those relationships fail simply b/c 1 or both people didn't really see it's true measure vs. it failing technically b/c someone spoke about it

I've seen alot of this on facebook. Women bragging on & on & on about how wonderful their new husband/boyfriend is & then 10 days later, changing their relationship status to "single!"

When I'm in a new relationship, I def. keep the bragging down to a minimum. I do that b/c I'd have to test the waters & be with someone for long enough before I can officially consider it REAL. 2 months into it? Maybe I'll hint that I'm happy. 2 or 20 years into the relationship? Oh I'm bragging full force!

Plus, I've noticed that those who lose their relationships after bragging about them all day are usually the ones who are only in a relationship just for the sake of being able to brag & say that they're in 1, vs. actually embracing the actual person they're with.

Maybe the relationship was ready to crash and burn,but they are in deep denial about the situation.They are like willing it to be okay.It's like when really wealthy people calmly say,'oh,things are okay/comfortable",meaning they are fifthy stinking rolling on piles of gold rich.

People who hardly talk about their relationships ,either things are tremendously good or just foul.

awww let people relish in their happiness, as temporary as we all know it to be
