Okay, so can any guys please tell me what is guy code? I know that involvement with a brother's friend is supposedly hands off, but what if there could be something. On both ends...what is the hang up? Honestly. Is it that it's family?

This is interesting, gemgem, the "guy code". Now this may be a stupid question, but why would involvement with your brother's friend be "hands off"? Is your brother involved with the woman? If so, that wouldn't be a "guy code" to keep your "hands off", that's just respect...

Hahah. Well this explains a lot. Now I know that it's not just my brother; it's all guys. My brother's friend and I have been physical in the past and then a year went by and we met up again when I went out with my brother. The sparks were still there and he was flirting like a little boy. So the next week we mess around. He tells me that he has to mentally shut himself off from me because he's my brother's friend. I know in the past my brother did find out about us and he freaked. So it could've been that he ultimately screwed up any chance of him starting anything with me. This friend is very nervous around me and always looking for things to talk about with me when we're alone. I get to see a side of him that his friends don't see. Usually they're all acting like crazy boys, but it's amazing once you've tamed them. haha.
