During christmas, I hung out with a friend guy that I have been friends with for years(about 15 years). I mean we were really great friends(talked about everything, shared our dating stories, etc.) During this particular visit we slept together(the first time ever). After our interaction, I became very distant with him. I think I became distant because I enjoyed our friendship the way it was and also I was just getting over someone I just got out of a relationship with. Even though I was distant, he still tried to reach out, offered to come see me again, etc. I acknowledge his offers but I did not accept. So recently I reached out to him, and apologized for being so distant, explained why, and also extended an invitation to hangout, etc. He accepted my apology but told me he was dating someone at the time and said that need to focus on her. Hearing him say he was dating someone really bothered me. I wish I would have responded sooner. In the midst of him telling me that he was dating someone. He just wanted to know why it took me so long to come around. Sure hate I missed out on what could have developed and not really sure if our friendship will ever be the same.
