It's over when one party decides that it is and means it. if they dont cut contact completely it's generally because they feel bad about hurting the other if the other is wanting answers. But that wont last long they'll soon sever ties.

I think its possible to be friends when its over -- especially when you haven't been together that long.

tricky question. but i'd say it's over when at least one party sticks firmly to it. a relationship involves two people after all, and if one doesn't reciprocate, then what is it? certainly not a partnership.

as for staying friends with exes, there are some situations where it just isn't feasible. other times, it may be possible, but only if both individuals want that.

I've never been left -- it's over when I say it's over,

hmmmmm .... yep, I've heard that one ...

I think its over when someone decides to be honest about whats happening. Afterwards, if that doesn't break anything apart, RUN AWAY!!!!

Yes, run as fast as you can -- I'm already plotting my getaway.

It is only completely over for me when my emotions have cooled towards the person I was with. I'm not friends with any of my exes because it just brings about complications that I don't want anymore.

Or is the relationship over when both parties agree that its over?

LOL - well you can't have a relationship with an empty space, so if one person's out, it's over I guess, which sounds a bit unfair but that's life...
couples apparently fall in love with each other at different speeds so I guess they could both fall out of love differently too...

Hi Zena 😄!!!!

You are right, you can't have a relationship with empty space.

I wonder if its possible for someone to put fear in you when they don't want to break you ... like saying the crazy things to make you stay.

I don't like that ...
