Why would a person say the dont need a man or woman to make them happy...I hear if mostly from woman....I actually never heard it from a guy......

That's a hilarious observation, dward ... especially since 99% of the females in here are crying about NOT having man, and this crying is in place because they are unhappy without having their particular man they are in here crying about.

A woman would (say) this isn't what they need .... then their (actions) would prove otherwise .. they do indeed, need this to be happy.

you are absolutely right....I just hear so many contradictive things....I think its mostly said because they cant find the right person...its like an angry quote...

so I guess its not a need for a man...just a need for companionship?

my girlfriend goes through a lot to get a man...to surfing the web...to blind dates...to going below her standards...still havent succeeded yet

I did have this time in life when I just felt like if I had a man everything would be perfect...it wasnt the need for a man...it was need for me to come in terms with myself and to love myself and know one person will never make everything better....things seem to fall in place after that.....

I think because ppl have a hard time accepting the fact of "not having a partner". A way to ver this feeling up is to ultimately say the opposite in hope to convince yourself, the ego is your enemy i guess, we all prob have done it in other situations....

then again i agree with the need and want.....and not to get these two confused.

But if someone is really emphasising and justifying a particular issue then it may very well be that its hiding the real issue.

I want a man for protection and sex. Everything else I can pretty much do on my own..

I think I need a man in my life, not to feel worthy but because I will not feel as complete without having someone I adore by my side 🙂

Now, keep in mind, I said someone I 'I adore'. This decreases the group because there aren't many admirable guys out there 😉
