This is how Julie, Nathan's mum explained LOVE to her autistic child in the movie X+Y:"When somebody loves you it means that they see something in you that they think it is worth something. So it add values to you.
But when you love someone and they show no sign that they love you back, then it is unequal.
Or when someone you love is subtracted from you, then it feels that your value is less than it was"So simple yet so true. It hit me hard.
that scene made me fucking ball like omg & i agree so simple. love is really simple 🙂
i think it had the world brilliant in the title and his dad died in the beginning and he sat in the front seat with his mom in the end right?
That movie have to titles "X+Y" and "A brilliant young mind".
It is also about the way the actress playing the mom said it. She did a fantastic job.
