How many of you are comfortable watching porn with your significant others? (or even F buddies)

If you are comfortable doing so, why? Is it b/c you believe it will help to enhance your sex life? Give you both new ideas? Show your partner that you can keep up with his/her sexual appetite? Is it b/c doing so gets you in the mood right before sex? Why!??

I've watched porn with a boyfriend before. At 1st I was totally uncomfortable. On 1 hand, I didn't want to sit there, looking like a robot & like I was embarrassed to watch it with him (he wasn't dumb--he knew that I watched it on my own time anyways) BUT on the other hand, I didn't want to appear as if I was a little too into it either! When my partner & I watched porn together, it seemed to make his love for our sexual chemistry rise a few notches! He'd look at me like, "Wow! How lucky am I that my own girlfriend will sit & watch this stuff with me!?!"

I will admit though; it is kind of awkward sitting there & watching porn with your partner. I mean what do you do? Sit there & touch yourself? Touch them? Try to imitate what the pornstars on the screen are doing? Moan with them? Sit there with a poker face like what you're seeing isn't phasing/intimidating you? Ugh! It's fun but yet so weird!

I don't mind if he watches. I don't like it because most of the time the women are being touched in ways that I know would not feel good. All I can think of is her discomfort while she is acting so it's a turn off for me and porn made for women just has way too much talking with boring story lines.

This is so true! im VERY picky about porn, me and my mates (girls) watch it sometimes just to laugh at the acting lol. With a partner i'll have it on in the background, but like virgodreamz if i see the guy touching the girl a certain way its kind of a turn off, I only want to see it how I want it if that makes sense. I will show a guy some porn though if it's something I would like us to try.

I go with the flow of the relationship. The one I'm in now doesn't require the use of porn. He's not interested. I'm not interested if he's not interested because I'm just all about our mutual pleasure together.

I have only watched porn once with one of my exes. It wasn't that great of an experience but it wasn't horrible either.

I agree. It depends on the kind of porn my partner is into! If he's into ahem..fisting, & yet I'm into just basic regular porn, there'd be a problem! If he's into transexuals and/or some crazy dominatrix stuff while yet I'm into something completely different, there'd be alot of discomfort!

Going to sex stores with my partner was more fun than anything! It was interesting seeing him go from nervous/embarrassed to completely relaxed & seeing me in a whole new light!

HA! Good point! See..me, I'm old-fashioned. I don't think 2 people should be sending eachother naked photos or making pornos together UNLESS they're married.

Making the porno together might be fun in the moment, BUT wondering where it's going to turn up persay the relationship ends is another story! I'd be too paranoid to make a porno with just a "boyfriend" or F buddy; who'd get to keep it? How could they guarantee you that it would stay b/w the both of you? There are just too many bad things that can happen.

I'd have to have an enormous amount of trust for someone before making a porno with them or sending them nude photos. I'm sure the women/men who were exposed and/or leaked aren't laughing and/or thinking it's fun to do so; I bet they regret making those homemade pornos!

Hey, just my opinion.

I occasionally watched a little porn with my husband as something sporadic, not with the intent of getting us both aroused. Damn, if we need porn for that, something ain't working.

Now "instructional" video on finding erogenous zones and your partners love language, etc. that interests me, and there's no complaints from him. I want the experience unique and discovering for us, so we know how to please each other that nobody can easily copy, not some porn tricks anybody can do.

Well I think the problem is that it all depends on what the porn actually does for the man watching it. Some men are able to separate fantasy from reality; they understand that it's just entertainment & they in no way try to compare those chicks on the screen to the average everyday woman/their partner.

BUT there are some men who take porn a little too seriously! They forget that those women in those pornos are just acting. They start comparing the women on those pornos to the woman they are with & that's when expectations can become realistic.

It's ok to like porn & to allow it to serve as entertainment temporarily, BUT some men take it to the extreme & watch porn so much so that their real sex lives w/ their partners start to suffer b/c of it. And if it ever gets to that point, things have gone too far.

For some women, they're uncomfortable with men watching porn b/c to them, it represents their partners lusting hard over another woman other than them. And some women can't handle that. Some women fear that their partners will begin to place unrealistic/over-the-top expectations on them b/c of the porn. Kind of like how young girls today starve themselves b/c they want to be like the models on tv. But yet those very same models, when interviewed, are quick to warn young people that the average every day looking person doesn't really look like that & they give those warnings so that people don't start basing their self-worth/ability to feel worthy to another person based on something that's just unrealistic entertainment.

And let's be honest, some of that porn is downright unrealistic! If my man watches a dominatrix video & decides that since I'm no longer fulfilling his sexual needs all b/c I won't wear black, cat masks, knee-high boots & carry a whip, we're gonna have a problem! If he compares me to something unrealistic then it'll put me in a lose-lose & the competition will be an unfair battle

My ex didn't like watching porn with me. Why I don't know but whatever. I do like porn and I even watch it alone. Hopefully when I get an actual boyfriend then we can watch porn together. I do agree with the other poster. As I get older I prefer cartoon porn. I love F*** faces and the way the chicks look on some movies is so sad. They look bored and like they could be somewhere else.
