When you bring the person your dating home ...

How long till you do that? My last boyfriend was after 10 months and the one before that was after 2 years. ( He was more of an open relationship tho)

I'm confused. What do you mean by bring them home? I would bring them home after the first date. If you mean to your parents home, then probably never.

It takes me a while. I take great pride in who I bring home to my parents. I like to know how I feel 1st before I start bringing them around & having to hear how/what everybody else thinks

How long it takes me depends on the pace of the relationship. If things get serious quickly, I'll probably introduce him to my folks no later than 6+ months. But if the relationship is moving at kind of a medium/slow pace and/or if I'm not yet sure where things are going, I'll wait until I am for sure that this guy will be sticking around for quite awhile.

It's never a good look when a person keeps bringing "false alarms" to my house. And I say this as a person whom my friends will come to when they want my "approval" or when they want to bring their new mates around me. I won't be impressed unless THEY've had time to be

If it got serious I'd take him home when it felt right.

The scorpio I'm with now has already met my parents back when he was just a friend to me and my sister and they like him so I guess that's taken care of 😛

I don't see what people's problems is with this.

I have only dated one person whom they did not meet. It was his choice. He was a Sag.
The rest they met after only a few weeks.

But like Lenabug said, I did live with them, so it wasn't a formal introduction - more like oh hey mom this is so-and-so...

I'd let my mom meet a guy after only dating him a day.
She's not all weird and shit? She's not envisioning us getting married and having babies.

She's always been very involved in my life...she doesn't meddle...so she deserves to know who I share my time with.
It's healthy to me.

i dont bring any guys home to meet my dad. hes packin

My mother (and step-father) and brother and sister ... met all my friends if chance happened.


There was no thought, or plan put into whether or not someone should meet another as it pertains to appropriateness ... if the person is one of my friends, and chance happens that all are in the same area at one time ... they meet.
