You ask some pretty good questions! Very deep thinker. You sound almost like a lawyer arguing on behave of a guilty client! There is no evidence for you though, this is about faith. You are either for God or you are against him. The bible says that the only way to get to HIM is through Jesus Christ. We cannot come to HIM by any other way!!!

There will come a time when you will find your way back to him, IMO. I think there will come a time in your life when you need him.

AS far as the last statement goes with the message before it, there is a thing called repetance and you take that to HIM.

It sounds as if you are trying to justify your life style ?

I will give this more attention when I get home tonight!

I just want to know what your definition of "true children of god" is. Also, because people have faith in different things, basing all your facts on faith doesn't back up your opinions very well either.

Basically what you are saying Suzy Q, according to my interpretation, that Christianity is the only true religion. And all because Christians have accepted Jesus and others haven't. So all those people who are Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, Shinto, Seehk(sp?) and many others-the majority of the world- are wrong in their religious belief. Tell me if you think otherwise.

I am not for God or against him. By that definition then I am supportive of evil, Satan, the Devil, ect. I have nothing against people being religious, only when they believe they are superior because of their religion.

Yes, I am trying to justify my life style but only for the purpose of explaining it to others such as yourself and why it is not a harmful life style , contrary to what many people think. I don't need to justify my beliefs to myself, just to others to increase world undrstanding.

Oh and Suzy- I am deeply envious of you. None of my topics have ever made it to 109 replies.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with having such strong faith like you do. I'm just very curious as to how someone could be so sure their faith is correct and everyone else is wrong. Do you ever doubt at all? Personally, I do have faith, but I have faith in everything, instead of only one perticular interpretation. There are so many explinations of life and the world we live in, I find it quite hard to say that only one is right and everything else is wrong. I think that they're all a little right, and it makes me angry when people refuse to admit there could be any truth in someone else's faith. Also, it seems to me that you believe that people only have faith when they follow an established religion. I know a lot of people, including myself, that have a lot of faith but do not follow an established religion. They still believe in god, but it just may not be the same way that you do. Does that make them evil? Does that make them wrong? Should they change their happy life style s because they don't think they way you do? How can God want that?

I have said that my relationship with God is personal, and I have never said that I am right and you are wrong. I do what is right for me and you should all do the same. If you want me to counsel you, I will try. Otherwise, I dont understand why you feel the need to convince me of anything.

I was only talking to you out of love and not coming at you as better or right.

I talk to you out of concern for you, and that is all!!
I want everyone to be happy, healthy and prosperious and that is all, and to have eteranl life like the God promises us. I dont believe he would have made them if he couldnt keep them!

You often sound as though you think you are better or right, Suzy...you may want to examine this more closely within yourself...
