Jesus

Similar to my Devil thread, but opposite. How do you picture Jesus as looking? You don't need to be historically accurate, or sensitive here, just be honest. Honest to God, when Nickelback first hit the mainstream and I saw their video for that song about "how you remind me" or whatever, I thought to myself, "that is my Jesus". That's exactly how he looks in my mind, like Chad Kroger of Nickelback.

jesus lived in the middle east. he was dark. he probably looked armenian or something.

I have a freind who decided to grow his black hair to about shoulder length and he also forgets to shave constantly so gets a beird... We always make fun of him for looking like Jesus... He's kind of a hippy...I don't know about what Jesus actually looked like, but I guess that's what Jesus would look like if he was living today.

Never really thought about it. As long as he had long hair, that's all that matters...oh and good hygeine.

Doesnt matter what he looked like it, was all symbolism; what matters is the blood, and the color of it and we all are the same!

Oh and morgan- you're right... I saw a documentary about scientists/anthropologists (whatever they're called) who use skeletons to reconstruct facial tissue out of clay (it sounds like lots of fun to me). Anyway, they made some educated guesses and produced their look-a-like of Jesus... and he looked just like George Harrison but with tanner skin.

I saw that too... He didn't look anything like George Harrison.

yes he did... did you see it on the discovery chanel? they had another one on earlier on the history channel.

I probably saw it on the History channel... He was really ugly though. It's funny, the image they showed was of a guy that really needed to shave and had really bad teeth.

I saw that special last year too, and he was not very attractive (Jesus that is). I don't know if I can get down with that. lol. I've always pictured Jesus as being strikingly good looking, you know, because he's so "beautiful on the inside", I just figured it would carry over to the outside.

I would be willing to accept Jesus as looking like George Harrison--I actually thought George in his younger days was the most attractive Beatle. lol.
