Lately I've encountered multiple sources stating sags lack discipline, especially when young. What are your thoughts on this? Do you find yourself not accomplishing your goals due to lack of discipline? What about the mundane stuff, can you keep your place nice and tidy and adhere to boring routines? Do you procrastinate a lot?

On the other hand, if you feel disciplined, have you always felt that way? Was there something you did to practice and improve? Are you on meds for ADHD? 😄

Good questions.

I lacked discipline when I was in my teens and early twenties for sure. Highschool drop-out who turned their life around by my own choice. A lot of my friends at the time also dropped out and never went back. Lived the empty glamour life style so to speak.

Not anymore though, I worked hard to go back to school and get a degree, currently pursuing my second in a full time program. At the same time, I still hold a managerial position. It's a little much but I have a drive not to fail. I suppose I changed when I realized how meaningless that kind of life is.

My place is a cluttered mess. It's not dirty, just things not put away..thankfully I live on my own.

I cannot adhere to boring routines or people. I will leave 😢 Procrastinate when I know I can, and do wait until the last minute to do some things.

My son is a multiple Sag (Sun+Moon+Mercury+Venus+Pluto) who is about to turn 13. He is intelligent but is not doing well at school and I am not quite sure why but it may be that he finds it hard to concentrate (I know I did when I was at school). It may also be that we do not live together as a family (he lives with his mother) and he might benefit in general from a fatherly presence. I have offered his mother to live with them for his sake but she is not interested. Even though she is a Sag herself I am afraid that she is pretty much of a killjoy and a hard taskmaster and so he may also be demotivated rather than motivated by her nagging!

He may be bored.

As a virgo rising, I find comfort in discipline. I'm a neat freak in my home and quite organised.

What I will say I lack some discipline in is with projects/deadlines. I will often leave work to the very last minute, as I produce better work under pressure. This leaves me stressed and mentally drained, but I can't seem to work any other way. I'm the girl who'd be chilled as fak at work while colleagues will be frapping about, getting worked up, asking if I've finished this and that project. Then one day I'll casually breeze in and hand everything in one swoop. And it'll be spot on.

It kills them (and me) every time.

... what to do about it? ... he has to do a ton of homework.

If you are serious about a Sag child, watch movies and cartoons about Heracles. A young Sag wants to be a hero (intrinsically) and needs a good training. As well as people who motivate him when he once again enters the loser mood. Only one word and he stands up.

If you cannot force this then let your ex know it indirectly. Books which appear in a household and no one knows they get to there.

I see you are talking about a rather difficult situation.
1. Sag and concentration.
2. multiple sag
3. teeny
4. divorce child
5. your unfinished business with his mother
5. lot of homework.
7. taskmaster at home.

I was really hyper sensitive in my childhood but I had my Aries-Taurus Mom. She helped me with a few of my issues.
What my brain needed was covered by books besides the School. I enjoyed them a lot.
But with homework I was inconsistent. Sometimes I was the best sometimes the worst.

In high school there were two situations where I wanted to leave. I thought I better learn at home.
In the middle part I found one teacher unfair. Later she was my favorite.
In the primary school there was a day I thought I lost my best friend. Cause we came from the old school to a new one and she found new friends. I wrote an article about it. And that was it. I found new friends too.

All that said, all that did not prevent me from getting an education. A fire sign child is well maintained by a fire sign parent. At least from my experience with my mother.

If you cannot forget your own issues with his mother, then you better forget him and try to build a new family from scratch. Because concentration is even more difficult for sensitive children when their parents are constantly NOT IN HARMONY.
