I change my friends when i feel like i am growing stagnant. They eventually simmer me down so i can fit in better with the status quo.

It's not you, its them

I'm introverted and a bit of a misanthrope so I sometimes really just don't give a shit about what people have to say. Especially if it's just mind numbing chit chat. People who don't know me very well might see me as boring if they catch me in one of those moods, but I don't think anyone who really knows me would consider me boring.

If you don't feel like you're connecting with someone then it's probably more likely that the 2 of you are just not right together. And you'll meet a lot more of the wrong ones than the right ones.

I know what you mean about changing friends, when I feel like they don't want the same things I want but lately I just don't have any friends. I feel that my expectations are to high of people and I just hate being disappointed. I know I am far from perfect but at the moment I have no friends.

Sag Moon... No one has ever called me boring, and I have never really been bored 🙂

I am the same exact way! I rather be around animals or myself or even kids. When I am talking to someone, I just want them to get to the point. Atleast I know I am not the only one that is introverted, kind of a misanthrope and just wants people to get to the point.
