So I tweeked my voice and talked like a southern hillbilly and my ol' pony gal, yes, her, told me I sounded creepy.
she kinda giggled. - not sure if that's a good thing or bad.

What say y'all?

Yes I've noticed.

One I remember listening to while barreling down the highway was Papa Loved Mama.

All his tunes were on youtube at one time. No more. I am sure they will ban them all some day.
So much for their greed. I think that stuff should be made free after so many years.

"Creepy" would appropriately apply if your intentions are less than honorable.
for example,

si vous êtes un Français coquine

In my particular case, I was just using "Y'awn't to?" as an example of my artificial accent skills.
She said "that's creepy" and she meant it.
She lives in the sticks amongst the natives so.... it could be a word used by a local
riff raff that gave her the creeps.

I don't know. it wasn't something that was dwelled upon and we had plenty of laughs
afterwards.

I also do impersonations at times.....
