Is it just me or are sagg people better off unattached?

Longed for a relationship
tried and tested the waters
got bitten
never want to go back there again.
Opened by heart up and I don't see me opening it up for a very long time


or am I just being bitter ? It was just so emotionally draining, everything I imagined it to be although I stayed optimistic.

as a sag, i thought we never give up on love.
or maybe that's my venus in scorp or cancer asc.
i think they may make me a love martyr.

Read somewhere that Sags are probably the few/or the only sign that doesn't NEED love. We are capable of being unattached with someone. We are the sign of higher learning, so when people talk about love, we want to LEARN TO love...where other signs NEED it to function. We are just curious about it basically, and we want to know what that feels like. We are able to be independent, and do things on our own because of the fact that we also like our freedom-to go, say, and do whatever we want basically whenever we want.

Sometimes, we can even have sex with you, but that might not mean that we actually FEEL love for you. That's also why when we look for someone, we want to grow with them and learn new things with them and THAT'S how we bond. Being at home watching tv with someone you care for and doing nothing else, sometimes is not enough for us. We need to go out every once in a while and experience things.

Here's the thing, at least from how I've experienced it in my short life.

We don't need other people like some others do. We don't need to have people to rely on because we're independent. We value people just for being who they are, and because they're interesting/fun. Sometimes we need people to help us get stuff done, but that's never an issue. We usually get what we want so we don't see the need to keep people around just in case they might be useful. We keep them around because we like them. But we know how to keep it light. We don't like being pushed into things too quickly, and usually are the ones to move on quickly because then we can avoid being dragged along. We like to have fun, because we're actually pretty serious people with ourselves and don't need other people for that. We want them so we can have fun with them.

However, I believe at some point, we meet a person that we just can't live without. I think everyone does, however we have such high standards that when we truly fall in love it's forever. We know it too. It's not worth wasting your time with anyone else. Why should you? I feel like many other signs are happy to be with people just for the time being, just to fill a hole. We are not. In fact, we cannot. We can't pretend that we want something when we don't. We are saving our emotions for that one person we cannot live without, even if it kills us. It doesn't mean we think anything less of you, it just means you're not the one. Because of this, I think the flip side is that we get hurt easily. When we finally meet that person, it's game over for us. Hopeless. Life-changing. And, yes, it can definitely result in pain if the other person doesn't feel the same way. But I feel like we usually get what we want. And, of course we are careful. So we guard ourselves. But when you meet that person, really there's no pulling us away.

Not just a sag thing, I feel that way myself after a break up. ATM I feel like it's just too damn easy to please myself so why complicate things now that I have found myself in a happy place?
