Where to go on holiday??!!

Hello Sags!

Could use some tips for my upcoming sabbatical. I get a month's leave effective April and i want to getaway somewhere and can't really decide where to go. I would like to use the sabbatical anytime between April - June. Anyone have some good suggestions?

Things you should know:
I will be traveling alone. I am 29 and female (if it is relevant for my safety).
I would like to be away for the whole month if my budget allows me to.
I live in Asia, so nowhere too expensive cos the currency exchange will kill me (perhaps around 4kUSD+/-. The less the better!)
I like historical and cultural places as well as just chilling out on a beach or the outdoors.

Places I've been (and don't want to visit again right now):
Malaysia (I live here)
Thailand (Bangkok & Koh Phangan)
Philippines (Manila & Pahlawan)
Cambodia (Phnom Penh & Siem Reap)
Australia (Perth)
China (Beijing)
Poland (Krakow)
Czech R. (Prague)
Germany (West Germany).

Not a sag ....but Costa Rica, or anywhere in the carribean. Its beautiful amd you'll do just.fine on that budget. I'd like to visit Costa Rica some time in the spring.

Interesting, Im trying to travel to those places you listed. Bahamas? Freeport or Grand Bahama?

Im thinking either hawaii, marrakech, dubai, or Jamaica.

I want to do a spiritual quest of some sort. Eat pray love.

I know what you mean! I was thinking of a month in Bali!
