Scorpio guy at work is confusing me

Sorry it is long and if I have made any mistakes I am new here 🙂

So a few months ago a new guy, Scorpio, started at work, and I can’t figure out what’s going on. He spends every lunch break with me, always hangs around my desk, we go for coffees a lot. It’s very full on and almost disruptive but I do like him, I just won’t admit it because I’m keeping it professional. And I am Capricorn. He is going through some hard family times and he comes and shares his thoughts and feelings with me even though they’re like riddles, he is being very needy and clingy. He leans close to me, touches me like a friend throughout the conversations, all the usual typical Scorpio signs, but the thing that confuses me is that he is known to be close with his sisters and female friends like that outside of work that he has known for years. He is just known to be respectful and caring. He won’t really carry on conversations via text outside of work. But I have noticed through his time at work he has done a bit of the stalking stuff. Like if I mention a person he also knows he will go make contact a week later with them then bring it up in convo. He has been really sweet at times making me lunch or buying it. He always compliments my work ethic. Over time he has asked me questions like getting to know me, we talk about anything and everything and We have so much in common. I don’t understand why he is not making a confession, I know other people are starting to notice. It’s been a few months and I have given him nothing but at times been really really friendly in a supportive way to show I care but always justified why I would be extra. No mention of feelings on my part. I’ve even met his mum and a few others but we are a close knit community so it’s not that crazy. My question is, will this dude break his cover soon? What’s going on in his head? How long will this game go for?
